Reading We have finished the Start Smart part of our reading series and are now beginning Unit One, with the theme of Families. Letter/Sound Recognition: Mm Word of the Week: we Whose Baby Am I? is the book we will be reading. We are also learning about rhyming words. Practice this with your child on the way to and from school.
Math We will be counting, collecting and measuring this week. We will also still practice our AB patterns.
T.R.A.C.K.S. Everyone has been doing so well with the binders! Thank you! Please make sure that each evening, you take out everything in the front pocket and everything in the yellow folder. The binders MUST return to school EVERY DAY. We use them EACH DAY.
Show & Tell On Friday, please let your child bring a small item that begins with the letter “M”. If it does not begin with this letter, your child will not be able to share during this time.
Family Homework Project Please see the letter with the attached piece of construction paper that your child is taking home.
